DIY Credit — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, take the Homebuyer Credit Readiness Assessment, or purchase The DIY Credit System, and how we use it. DIY CREDIT can be referred to here as "We," "us," "our".

1. Information we collect
You provide directly:

- Name, email address, and phone number (when you opt in to the assessment, purchase the program, or book a call)

- Answers to the Credit Readiness Assessment questions

- Pre-session forms and intake information if you book a 1-on-1 session

Collected automatically:

- Lesson and assessment completion records inside our course platform (used to run the program and verify guarantee claims)

- Video watch analytics on our video pages (who watched, how much — used to improve your onboarding experience)

- Standard website analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location)

Payments: Payment information is processed by our secure third-party payment processor. We never see, store, or handle your full card number.

2. How we use your information

- Deliver the program you purchased and the communications that go with it

- Send the 15-day onboarding emails and text messages (SMS only with your explicit opt-in)

- Verify Do-The-Work Guarantee refund requests against your completed tracker and lesson records

- Book and prepare for 1-on-1 sessions you request

- Respond to your questions at [email protected]

- Improve our education and measure what is working

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing, other than the referral-partner updates described in Section 3.

3. Referral partner updates

If you were referred to DIY Credit by a real estate or mortgage professional — including but not limited to a Realtor, loan officer, banker, or mortgage broker — we may share program updates about you (such as your enrollment and progress milestones) with that referring party, so they can stay informed. If you do not want us to share updates with your referring party, tell us in writing at [email protected] and we will stop.

4. Third-party credit monitoring services

The credit monitoring dashboard we recommend is operated by an independent third-party company — not by DIY Credit. How that company collects, uses, and protects your information is governed entirely by its own terms of service and privacy policy, which you should read and understand before signing up. DIY Credit has no control over, and is not responsible for, that company's practices.

5. Service providers

We share limited data only with the tools that run the program: our payment processor, our course and marketing platform (GoHighLevel), and our video-messaging platform (Quickpage). Each is bound by its own privacy and security obligations.

6. Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in to SMS updates, you agree to receive program-related text messages from us. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. We confirm opt-outs and stop messaging the number promptly. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected].

7. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and anonymous usage analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.

8. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection. We keep your information only as long as needed to run the program, honor the guarantee, meet legal obligations, or until you ask us to delete it.

9. Your rights

You may ask at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will respond promptly.

10. Children

DIY Credit is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. (Our nonprofit's youth education programs operate separately and are not covered by this policy.)

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the program evolves. The current version will always be posted on this page with its update date.
